Whitecaps Game

The whole Peuler clan made it to a Whitecaps game thanks to Grandma and Papa. We really had a good time. Well let's just say a 2 year old at a ballpark is a lot to handle sometimes. Mason as my dad would say was very spirited that night. All he wanted to do was run around up and down the hill we were on and just be crazy except when the popcorn came out and he was all about that.

Carson 3 months

Carson is doing pretty good these days. He is picking his head up so much and smiling at us all the time. He loves to watch Mason play. He is getting to be a bit of a stinker when it comes to sleeping but it's okay I love to snuggle with him even if it is in the middle of the night!

Danny's Birthday Party

I know I am a little behind in updating but these pictures are from Danny's birthday party from the beginning of August. Mason had so much fun swimming in the pool and jumping to daddy off the diving board. He loves to swim and is doing pretty good on his own. Caron is three months in these pictures and he slept most of the time there. He loves being outdoors.

Swimming at the Conklin's

After a family picnic Angie and Kevin came over swimming along with The Clark Clan and some of their friends. We had a great time. This was the first time Mason let go of us while he was swimming and actually stayed afloat. He is doing very well with the life jacket. He is even swimming after things and of course he loves to splash. He is growing up way to fast.

The dads were having so much fun throwing the kids to one another in the pool. Sydney got some major hang time. Good thing Chad was watching right Ang!!

Here's Mason mid air. Both of the kids just loved it!

Camping with the Conklin's

We went to visit Chad's parents at a campground near Kzoo for two days. Well, we drove home each night we weren't to sure how sleeping in a tent with a two year old would go along with Carson. But we had a great time. We were able to go swimming, Chad helped the nieces and nephews go fishing. They caught some fish and two turtles. And yes Mason was afraid of the turtles. We also had good food and the kids loved the smores. It was just nice relaxing and hanging out with family.

Chad and Mason playing catch....but it was mostly Mason run around and Chad hit him with the ball. We are still working on those hands!!

The new tripod grill. It sure works great!

I couldn't do a thing with my hair!

Mason Loves hanging out with Paige. They were playing tag and Mason just kept chasing her and screaming!

Hope even came along and was so hot she walked right into the creek

Critter Barn/Ice Cream Social

Oh we had so much fun at the Senior Center for the Critter Barn and the ice cream social. It was so fun we were able to have all the great grandkids there. They had baby chicks, roosters, baby ducks, rabbits goats, etc. for the kids to pet and feed. Well most kids. As you can tell by the pictures Mason was rather scared of most of the animals. He tried to climb out of the goat pin and would scream when we would get to close. Carson really didn't seem to care too much. Mason sure enjoyed the ice cream and grandmas new veggie filled brownies...yuck for us adults but the kids loved them.

Here is Great Grandma and Great Grandpa with all their Great Grandkids. As you can tell my picture didn't turn out that well. Mason and Sydney were having too much fun to stand still for a photo.

Chad's Aunt and Uncle came into town for Chad's dad's surprise party and they brought some KU gifts from cousin Debbie. Also, the KU shirt Carson is wearing is from the Creitz family as well. All four of us got one after the basketball team won the Championship. We sure love our Jayhawks.

Surprise 70th Party

So Mom Conklin pulled off a wonderful surprise 70th birthday party for Chad's Dad. It was a big surprise to him because he doesn't turn 70 until January. We all had a great time.

Carson 2 months

Carson 2 months

Carson 2 months

Mason at 2 months

I think it is a lot of fun comparing the two boys. Gosh to me they have a lot of the same characteristics. What do you think??

Carson is now 2 months old. He is sleeping through the night and has been for a bit now and is in his own crib. Chad finally talked me into getting him out of our room. At his check up everything looked good. He weights 13 lb 14 oz (90%) and is 24 and 1/4 inches long (90%). I think he is taking after Mason and will be a big boy as well.

Carson is smiling and cooing at us all the time. He loves his new play gym. His favorite is the monkey, he'll grab at it and put it in his mouth.

As you can tell Carson is losing his hair in spots. Before we know it he will have a mowhawk.

Yummy Toads

Well we went out to Mom and Dad Conklins for dinner the other night and after we ate we took Mason outside and Dad and Chad took him to see the neighbors lambs, pigs, horses and chickens. When they came back they told us how scared Mason was of the lambs and Chickens. Well, I had never seen them so Dad took Mason and I back. Well we got Mason to go into the barn to see the lambs and he was doing fine until he noticed that a chicken had followed us into the barn and it scared the living daylights out of him. He screamed so loud and would not let go of me. It sure was nice to cuddle with him though!

Also while we were there Chad's dad found a little toad. He cupped it in his hands and showed Mason. Mason saw it moving and thought he might want to touch it. Well that is what he did. He grabbed it right out of papa's hand and put it right in his mouth!!! It was so gross. I screamed so loud for them to get that out of his mouth! I guess kids will do anything :) But it's still gross.
